On 7th January 2026, Padel Travel X delivered a defining moment for British padel - successfully bringing global superstar Paquito Navarro to the UK for a landmark exhibition event that showcased the very best of the sport.
Hosted at Rocket Padel Battersea, the event marked the first time a world-class padel player competed in an exhibition match alongside elite Great Britain talent on UK soil. It was a milestone not just for Padel Travel X, but for the growth, visibility, and future of padel in Britain.
A World-Class Experience, On and Off the Court
The day began with a series of exclusive masterclass clinics led by Paquito Navarro alongside leading GB players Nikhil Mohindra and Same Jones and former GB No.1 Frankie Langan. Demand was exceptional, with all sessions selling out within minutes - a clear reflection of the appetite for elite-level padel experiences in the UK.
Participants praised the clinics for their intensity, insight, and energy, describing them as inspirational and unforgettable. From tactical detail to mindset and match-play awareness, attendees gained rare access to the knowledge and experience of players operating at the very top of the game
A Historic Exhibition Match
The evening exhibition match was a sold-out, ticket-only event attended by padel industry professionals, club owners, partners, and passionate fans. Paquito Navarro took to the court alongside Nikhil Mohindra, Sam Jones, and Frankie Langan, delivering a high-speed, high-skill spectacle that highlighted exactly why padel is one of the world’s fastest-growing sports.
The match was expertly commentated by Emily Kilner, whose dynamic and insightful coverage elevated the experience for spectators and captured the excitement, athleticism, and strategy of elite-level padel.
Padel as a Platform for Positive Impact
Beyond the competition, the event served as a flagship showcase for the Padel Travel X Charity Tournament in aid of Centrepoint, taking place on 5 September. Centrepoint is Padel Travel X’s official charity partner, and the evening reinforced the organisation’s commitment to using padel as a powerful platform for social good.
A signed Bullpadel Hack 04 Premium Tour Finals Edition racket - generously donated by Max Holloway of MRH Sport, the exclusive UK distributor for Bullpadel - will be auctioned via Instagram, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Centrepoint to support their vital work with homeless young people across the UK.
